Colour Builder

Build colour palettes that work together before you start painting.

A practical way to explore colour relationships without guesswork.

The Colour Harmony tool helps you build colour palettes based on proven colour relationships. You begin by selecting a colour from the colour wheel — everything else is built from that choice.

From there, the tool offers structured options such as complementary, analogous, triadic, or a broader six-colour harmony. Each option produces colours that naturally work together, helping you avoid combinations that fight each other on the surface.

The palette remains fully editable. You can add or remove colours, adjust the selection, or simplify the palette to suit the needs of the painting. Nothing is locked — the tool supports exploration, not rules.

Finished palettes can be saved and recalled later, making it easy to reuse colour ideas across studies, series, or future paintings. This encourages consistency without forcing repetition.
