Images are categorised and searchable, making it easy to find useful reference for structure, colour, atmosphere, or subject matter. You can also explore similar images to compare variations or develop ideas over time.

While painting from life is always encouraged, the Image Library is here for the moments when you’re working in the studio and need visual reference. It’s designed to support your practice — not replace direct observation.

You’re free to use the images in your artwork however you choose — from studies through to finished pieces, including prints and work on physical surfaces. The only thing you must not do, is to include the images in an electronic library form or give out to others. Apart from that, you are welcome to use any without attribution.
